Can't get into mop or legion

Downloaded 5.4.8 and haven't been able to get it to open. Downloaded the launcher and it updated some files and now it's trying to sign me into felsong. Which is where I want to go but I only have 5.4.8.

So I sign into felsong and the connection is super slow. I sign in. Stuck on connecting. Then to pick realm and I get stuck on that logging screen then it just shot me to the character creation. Any way to get this faster? I was not able to connect to mop or legion and somehow legion is working?

Stuck on character screen. Not going any further as it is loading I think? I am running off mobile hotspot and. Have restarted hotspot and laptop. Asus k55a 8.1 64bit

Update, still stuck on character screen with the loading bar at the top of the screen staying empty. out of curiosity of somehow getting into legion. I checked my realmlist and this is it.

If I take away the legion launcher. Will I be able to get into mop? I can not get the read only to go away. It comes back after I deselect it. Any ideas how to fix. Thanks. Trying to update as much as I can for clearer picture of what's going on

Deleted freak launcher and reset realmlist. Still throwing me into legion?

Still making me go in as legion onto felsong. Created character and stuck on vanilla loading screen with a tip saying first time playing so it'll be a few minutes to download. Not sure how I can't get into mop after setting the realmlist to it
