Couple of questions about issues

I did a search for the drain life question but couldn't find an answer. I'm a level 50 warlock. Drain life is not working properly. It does damage, but it is also supposed to 'drain life' and heal, which it is not doing. Someone in the game said that drain life doesn't work right during lower levels, but works properly at level 90. Is this true?


I also have a technical issue when starting the game. I've restarted it several times after deleting the cache folder. Every time I start the game up (using the 32bit exe or the normal wow.exe) I have to 'sign' the agreement every time, and my video options are all reset every time as well. Any suggestions?

Regarding the issue of signing up agreement every time you log in try this

Go to wow folder > open the WTF folder -> open the config.wtf file and change the values of the some config lines as given below

SET readTOS "1"
SET lastReadTOS "50408"
SET readEULA "1"
SET lastReadEULA "50408"
SET readTerminationWithoutNotice "1"
SET lastReadTerminationWithoutNotice "50408"

Try this and tell if it works

Thanks for the info. I was able to resolve it earlier tonight by simply unchecking read only on the config file. Not sure how it got set as read only.
