Bug description: - Vengeance is 1.5% of the Unmitigated attack that you should receive. Even though you dodge/miss/absorb/reduce by cds you should be gaining Vengeance.

- At the next attack you add to the vengeance of the attack part of the old vengeance. What part means? Well for every second passed from the last attack you
lose 5% of it. This is the way Vengeance decays, otherwise it would get very fast to ridiculous amount of vengeance and never drop.

So, for example, your old vengeance is 2000 and the next attack happens after 4 seconds that would mean that in the next calculation the old vengeance will loose 20%, so you will have 1600 + new vengeance.

0.015 * UnmitigatedDamage + OldVengeance * OldVengeanceSecondsRemaining / 20

There shouldn't be diminishing returns on vengeance from one single target but only on multiple fights (proof below) I soloed tank Fallen Protectors 25 Heroic on guardian / Brewmaster monk the vengeance wont go above 100k , same goes with solo tank Iron Juggernaut vengeance goes to 100k then resets and u dont receive the vengeance increase while the fire damage taken can go up to 700k, the vengeance has diminishing returns and would not go higher this means no vengeance>no dmg=low threat= low healing
There was a fix of vengeance on 29-04-2015
Fixed:
- proc on dodge/parry/block/miss
- refresh duration on reapply
- cap to player max HP [You cant get close to near cap with this vengeance ]
- formula correction (still needs to calculated unmitigated damage instead of mitigated damage)
- monk vengeance

The formula is not the issue now, nor the calculations it's something I can't figure out , but it used to be different on retail 5.4 patch SOO
the damage and threat of tanks is low compared to retail , so is the healing and mitigation on some classes

I also found another topic , about the same Vengance bug.
It's is gameplay changing and must be fixed , it says fixed but it is not
Make tanks life better.

Please don't open multiple topics for the same bug, as already mentioned by you this bug is already posted. Also, when making a bug report please say EXACTLY WHAT IS NOT WORKING, you wrote a wall of text of ~all aspects of vengence but not too many info about which of those doesn't work
