This potion has 2 possible effects: 1) This changes your player model to a (playable) random race and gender, each of which seems to have its own costume. There also seem to be several varieties for each race/gender combo. For instance, you can be transformed in to a blond-haired female blood elf, or a black-haired one. This only occurs when away from nearby players, and these costumes allow you to use mounts, in addition to all your abilities. 2) Copies the appearance and gear (sans weapons) of the nearest player or target. This appears to have a short range, and you can reliably change your appearance to whoever you want by standing on top of them before using the potion. You can use all your abilities as normal but when copying the appearance of other players you will receive a "cannot mount whilst shapeshifted" error at time of writing. This seems to copy the exact model of the nearest player. For example you can copy Druid forms (as a non-Druid). Presumably this would work for all items that change the model (such as the Orb of the Sin'dorei). However, you cannot copy spell effects such as a Priest's Shadowform. Also, you cannot copy the appearance of NPCs or creatures.
