Edit: Seems like mastery rates are also broken and they're way too strong compared to haste, will make another thread about it but please look into mastery rates.

What this represents at the Haste Breakpoint of Shadow Word:Pain and Devouring Plague (8085 and 8064)



It adds extra 2 ticks to the length of sw:p
It adds 2 extra ticks to Devouring Plague.

• 1330 Haste - +1 Devouring Plague Tick.
  
• 1345 Haste - +1 Shadow Word: Pain Tick
  
• 2021 Haste - +1 Vampiric Touch Tick
  
• 8064 Haste - +2 Devouring Plague Ticks
  
• 8085 Haste - +2 Shadow Word: Pain Ticks

With no Haste (Default Stats)

• Devouring Plague Ticks 6 times in 6 seconds, one tick every second (1000 Milliseconds (MS))
  
• Shadow Word Pain Ticks 6 times in 18 seconds, one tick every 3 seconds (3000 Milliseconds (MS))
  
• Vampiric Touch Ticks 5 times on 15 seconds, one tick every 3 seconds (3000 Milliseconds (MS))

Shadow Word pain and Devouring Plague at Haste Breakpoints

Devouring Plague Ticks 8 times (From Default 6) in 6 seconds (800 MS every tick)
Shadow Word: Pain Ticks 8 times (From Default 6) in 18 seconds (2400 MS every tick)




Proof



Here's one of the screenshots from a dummie on recount BEING haste capped and missing 1 tick of Devouring Plague, down from 8 to 7. Notice that the haste should increase the amount of DOT ticks, there is another Devouring plague on recount since there is DIRECT DAMAGE from Devouring Plague followed by DoT damage. The other ticks from Devouring plague except the initial hit is the mastery. PAY ATTENTION TO THE Devouring Plague (DoT)





Notice this screenshot applies 8 Ticks of Shadow Word: Pain which is CORRECT since Im over the Haste breakpoint cap.




I try change my haste to be undercapped and use SW:P again. I should be getting 7 ticks with this haste, but I still get 8 so there's no point reaching haste breakpoint?




Duration of the tooltip is also bugged on SW:P. Since it scales with haste, you can clearly see in the screenshot that the duration is not correct, but the ticks I get are correct ONLY when you haste cap.

Yeah the maths is right because it isn't only my maths involved, but also MoP legitimate sources taken into consideration. I only took the screenshots which were necessary from the sources as they went into too much detail.

@Dreadblade Sorry to call out so early, but this is a crucial error altering shadow priest gameplay completely in PvE regarding gearing towards BiS/Rotation as well as talents, please take a look into it if you can, can post more source links regarding this if it wasn't enough.
