[DUPLICATE] [Profession / Enchanting] Disenchanting low level items yields nothing

Bug description: Disenchanting an item yields no material: the item is destroyed, and I got enchanting experience, but no enchanting material.

The GM help request I submitted was answered with "this is a known bug, we are working on it"
=> I'm opening this is here to hopefully get more detail on what to expect whe disenchanting (kind of frustrating to waste resources on my first account while trying to bootstrap...)

The only reference I found to this issue was this rejected bug https://forum.wow-freakz.com/REJECTED-Disenchanting-is-NOT-giving-items-t576729.html . Not sure why it's marked as rejected and locked if the issue is known.
