WoW Freakz spell link: Consuming Shadows
Character name:Manysouls
Bug description: Voidwalker's ability Consuming Shadows that is AOE also afects mobs that are tagged as invalid target(non friendly/neutral).
P.S. In my opinion it might have something to do with summon's faction being hostile to NPC's.

Not a warlock issue, its an issue with those NPCs, same thing happens to me on other classes Paladin/S priest to be specific. It is already reported in a different section.
