Bug description: Not being able to use abilities during crushing grip and I GOT KILLED THROUGH IMMUNITY WHICH IS REALLY IMPORTANT !

Could you tell at least which abilities are affected?. I can't reproduce and about immunity the DoT before throwing the player to ground bypass the immunity like retail. The spell contain the data to pass immunities.

Thanks for putting interested in the report.
The main problem is that "sometimes" the boss is out of range. This never should happen, it wasnt like that on retail.
Sadly there are not that many pov as tank but as you can see:

Boss is never out of range. It's actually important having the possibility to mitigate especially during the crushing grip, especially for a prot paladin but for every tanks. Boss should result out of range only when it is about to throw you away.

@zarathos I have uploaded entire POV for you ( I could never use Shield of Righteous , Judgment , Avenger Shield ) . Strange thing only time I could use my abilities was when I actually used divine shield but I didn't know the DoT is going through immunity which is my bad , but the problem here is that you basically can't mitigation up if you are caught in the crushing grip making you vulnerable to death.

When the boss uses Crushing Grip on the tank it'll prevent him from using some/any spells.
This is my theory based on what I've seen so far: At the end of the cast the boss is meant to throw the tank on the ground and deal aoe damage to all other players close to the landing site. On Freakz the boss snapshots at the beggining of the cast the location of a random party member to which he'll throw the tank. If that player happens to be ranged then the tank is somehow considered "out of the range" because he'll be thrown at that location therefore he's not able to use any melee spells.

Every time I've had all players stay in melee range of the boss I was able to use all of my spells.

I could be wrong but that's just my two cents.
