The glyph of ice block gives you immunity against crowd control spells (cc). In that time , when ice block fades , you take physical damage , physical stun , so grip should work on you.

My suspect is because of a counter glyph that dk was using..
Jungla's armory : https://armory.freakz.ro/character/genesis/jungla
He was using a glyph called "Glyph of resilient grip" - It allows a dk to spam death grip untill the enemy is gripped.....So probably he spammed it on u and u saw that...

Its a PVP glyph to counter immune targets (bubbles, blocks etc) and hunter deterrence..


But nevertheless, u should be immune to such spells while ur glyph proc is active...I smell a conflict between 2 anti-glyphs

since Death Grip is in the shadow school than the dk shouldnt be able to use Death Grip over a mage that has the buff of Glyph of Ice Block active.
