Double rates event

Hey guys,
As you've probably noticed and most of us expected some of the playerbase has shifted over to legion.
I suppose in order to boost the MOP population and/or recruit new members to the realm, you could set up a 2x rates event, spanning over xp gain, valor, justice, honor and so on, perhaps even in to some loot.

It would exclude gold and any profession related double ups as that might further destabilize the economy which is quite spiky as it is.

How do you consider this helping the population increase more specifically?

I suppose a double gain event will get some dormant peeps back, as it means easier access to items/gear and recruit new ones which would not invest the time required to reach end game in most cases.
The realm has great end game potential and the mop zones are rather decently scripted. Same would apply for most class mechanics, I think that if more people get to experience them, they'll stick around.

Alternatively, Ordos could start dropping Warforged gear instead of LFR, have a double honor weekend/double valor cap anything of the sorts.
The MOP realm is really struggling if you guys haven't noticed
