If no players are on the [jaina's tide elemental](https://www.wow-freakz.com/npc_finder.php?npc=149501&name=jaina-s-tide-elemental) threat list it will do nothing. Even when attacked with a pet the elemental will not get aggro from players, once the pet dies it resets and does nothing.
(tested on normal might be the case for other difficulties too)
