Bug description: brutal slash bug is back ! along with abusers. 1 mil crits. not even chaos bolt / full moon cant hit like that and thats resource hard and super long cast. Feral can kill u in 2-3 globals rn.

I dont fully understand formula tho > = 20.25 * AnimalWeaponDamage(true) * (1 + ArtifactTraitRank(SharpenedClaws) * 0.07) , which value should i use for > ArtifactTraitRank(SharpenedClaws) < ? ik its 23% dmg increase , should i use 23% value from normal one as that number?

I can tell you for starters that the spell does exactly how much it supposed to do following the formula. It was never "fixed", the original bug, it was sort of patched. I fixed the melee damage for cat and bear forms, so don't know what to say seriously. I can provide as many proofs as you want from retail and calculations here, it does exactly how much it supposed to. I don't know how and why didn't it do so much damage on retail. I'll do some more tests, will see

well something is clearly broken on it , feral can take ballance afinity and hit 1 mil in 3 gcd for like 20 y range , imagine it in 3s , ferals like @vexx allready started abusing this and pushing in rating , soonish like 5 ferals will be r1.... that dmg cant be legit

i just watched 5 videos from retail , ferals with savage roar and brutal slash combo critting for like 300 k max .... i cant help u if i dont even know to fill that formula to find what dmg it suppose to do :/

maybe we use wrong base value or it s dmg isn t diminished by armor or dmg buffs stacks improperly. But did it hit like this before we reverted the reverse on recent bugs? maybe we can start to look at what could've done it

ok lets say formula is >

20.25 * 14000 * { 1 + 3* 0,07 } = 343 000

its ok in wpvp , why is it increased by 100 k in arena ? for what reason ? theres no pvp template to increase and u have lower stats. and im 100% sure there is some hidden template or something on retail , coz you can watch any video from 7.1.5 and u will see highest hit 300 k not 1 mil.. { even with tigers fury , savage roar etc. }

800k basic is about 600k hit cleave
Not possible that it is dealing that much dmg ... in pvp is less dmg then in pve
It is like fury warrior in pve, you fixed fury and feral is okey
please fix it

there is no way that some class can hit 890k insta aoe crit when player HP is like 2.5 mil. Ferals right now can kill everyone almost instantly its broken.

@Stayfjurt, because you have more weapon damage in PvP? DUH. Calculations for Animal Damage are completely different in and outside of PvP, but still completely blizzlike. I spent over 8 hours fixing the animal damage so it works in every possible scenario.

Here are my retail results:
outside pvp:
3102 agility
2298 - 2565 weapon damage => 42942 damage on tooltip

inside pvp:
3446 agility
4125 - 4126 weapon damage (almost double) => 87434 damage on tooltip, WITH 60% PvP modifier (which is not present currently on 7.1.5)

Also, I have iLvl 947 atm on our server as a test, and my tooltip inside pvp still shows 387k base, and does 271k on 30% armor. How do you have 480k?

Nvm, I didn't have the 21% bonus from the trait, I got 460k now. But I think I found the issue
