WoW Freakz spell link: Scale of Earth

Bug description: This on freakz is a big part of Prot damage especially in AoE which was not the case on retail.
Initially, i was thinking that it should have a CD or diminishing return on proc but according to Mr. Robot this isn't the case.
Something isn't right with the block/crit block chance, I will look into it.

I have about 48% mastery on my warrior. So that means 48% chance to critically block. So let's say 1 in 2 blocks will be a critical one.
Then, you put Shield Block into the ecuation, which increases your block chance by 100%, which means that you will block every single attack, when the ability is up, and it will be up almost always, if you play at the talent "Heavy Repercussions", which increases your Shield Block duration by 1 sec for each time you use Shield Slam. Now you add the large number of mobs in mitics (because that's the only place where this ability shines). Let's say 10-15 mobs, but sometimes there are even more, when you go YOLO mode. Every mob that strikes you has a chance of activating this talent, Scales of Earth. I would say it should proc quite often, would you? Hence the large amounts of damage. Prot warrior has already been nerfed by 14% to thunder clap and revenge damage and another 5% to all other abilites. I don't think there is anything wrong with the ability. The problem might be the fact that (I think) mobs are doing low damage in mitics, and you can easily pull a lot of them, substantially increasing this talent's dps. But that's just my theory, concerning the mobs' damage. I think the spell works fine.

I am aware of how blocks and critical blocks work on warrior. In your analysis you forgot to also mention that Scales of Earth has a 25% proc chance.

So taking the naked scenario without using the shield block. I have 31% to do a normal block then 35% one of this to be critical block and then another 25% to proc Scales of Earth.

If my math is right you should have roughly 2.7% chances to proc SoE.

I have counted around 40 hit received and 10 procs of SoE which is far from working fine.
Obviously, I did not take into consideration the fact that Shield Block as you said is almost always up thing that almost nullify one variable from the equation.

My guess is that Critical Blocks are not subtracted from standard blocks they just work independently.

Have you provided any new proof? Why did you mark it as confirmed? Your video does not work by the way.

We first roll for block, then if it is, we roll again for critical block, then if it is, we roll again for Scale of Earth. So everything you said becomes irrelevant.

It is a fact, that I made a mistake and it also rolls for each incoming damage, not just on critical blocks, but you couldn't know this, so yeah, you should've waited for me with that confirm
