Many players appear to be struggling with anomalies, so I synthesized this thread to alleviate some of these issues. So, if you are struggling with anything, post it here or on Twitter @Dankorii, and I will assist you anyway that I can.



General F.A.Q.

Q: Where do I download the 4.3.4 torrent?

A: You can download the torrent by clicking here.


Q: What do I use to download the 4.3.4 torrent? My computer does not have a default program?

A: Do not worry, these programs are free. You can use any Bit Torrent software, but we recommend uTorrent.


Q: Do I need a special executable file to play on WoW Freakz?

A: Nope. Your normal WoW.exe should do the trick.


Q: Where should I get AddOns?

A: I have heard that Curse.com is excellent for this sort of work.


Q: Why are the realms offline on Friday, January 25, 2013?

A: Due to a conquest exploit being abused, the Freakz staff shut the realms down to fix the problem.


Server F.A.Q.

Q: What are the experience and reputation rates in-game? And can they still be customized?

A: After the launch of 4.3.4, the rates were set to ten. Players can adjust these rates; however, the rates can not be risen above ten. All rates can be found on the Server Information page.


Q: Is stealth bugged?

A: "Bugged" is not the term I would use.


Q: Are the staff planning a one-day rollback?

A: No.


Q: Why is my character getting stuck in one spot?

A: This is a common bug in 4.3.4. You can mount up to fix this bug, or sign out and back in, if you are indoors.


Q: Why has the Lunar Festival not begun yet?

A: The festival has started, however, Frenzied Firecracker and The Rocket's Red Glare do not work.


Q: Why do I crash when I fly to Light's Hope Chapel?

A: The crash is caused by an unknown server-side error. So, if you need to go to Light's Hope Chapel, you must fly to a nearby tower and run to the Chapel.


Q: How do I get gold?

A: Gold is currency; and currency is something you earn.

Player v. Player F.A.Q.

Q: Why did the Horde have an honor buff?

A: During the first few days of launch, the Alliance had (almost) instant queues with few Horde in the battleground. So, in other words, the Alliance were receiving free honor points and were obtaining gear too fast.


Player v. Environment F.A.Q.

Q: Is Dragon Soul scripted?

A: Nope, not yet.


Q: How hard is Firelands? Can it be soloed?

A: Not too hard. No.


Q: Is Firelands open to players?

A: Yes!
