Learn how to make a glow button for you website.



First make a new document ( File -> New ) with width : 200 , height : 200 and fill with white color [ #ffffff ]
Make new layer.
Select the rectangle tool and draw a rectangle in the center. Fill it with any color you want .



Right click on this layer and go to Blending Mode -> Gradient overlay .
Use this setting for the gradient.




Outer Glow :



Now we have to select this rectangle.
Hit cltr + click on this little rectangle



Go to select -> modify -> contract



And use this settings :



Now select rectangular marquee tool and use this settings:



This setting will cut from the rectangle so make a rectangle and cut the existing rectangle in half.



Make a new layer.
Now go to edit -> fill [ use white color ] [ #ffffff ]
Change the opacity to 8 % !



And you should get something like that.



Select the dodge tool



Select layer 2.
Make a new layer. The new layer should be named layer 4 .
Now select layer 2 and layer 4 and hit ctrl + g [ this will make a group ]
Right Click on this group and select merge group.

With the dodge tool still selected select this settings :



Now start brushing the center bottom part .



Make a new layer and draw a rectangle like this :



Fill it with white and change the opacity to 42%



Now go to group 1 again and select dodge tool with Brush Size : 56



Brush again the bottom a little bit and the corners !
Add some text and you are done .
