Intriga din Gods of Egypt se declanºeazã atunci când unul dintre zei, Seth (Butler) ucide un altul, pe Osiris. Când fiul lui Osiris, Horus (interpretat Nicolaj Coster-Waldau), în încercarea de a se rãzbuna, se alege cu ochii scoºi, un singur om, un tânãr hoþ îndrãgostit de o sclavã, se încumetã sã ajute la înfrângerea zeului nebun.
