Green fire questline scripted or not?

Hey guys.

So I've made a ticket and the kind GM told me that the quest line wasn't scripted and that the tome doesn't drop from isle of thunder rares.

Although I've been browsing around on forums and from what I understand is that the droprate was nerfed 'cause donaters, so it's down to 0.1% or something like that. Down from 1-2% from retail.

I don't mind the droprate, but I'd love to know if it's worth farming or not. Because there's no reason to farm it if the questline is not working or scripted or at least possible to do.

I really don't feel like donating for it or anything else which is why I don't mind farming.

We are aware of the issue as it was already reported, however we currently have higher priorities on both MoP and Legion realm.
Will script it as soon as we have spare resources.

Soo.. It isn't scripted and the book can't be farmed and the GM lied to me? Is that what you're saying? I'm confused here...

You have a very slim (0.1%) chance to get the book by killing specific NPC's however the questline behind the book isn't scripted, thus so you won't be able to obtain the green fire.
