Hi i tried playing this server i downloaded the launcher changed the realmlist did everything but when i try to login it just stays at handshaking can you please help me?

Do you have a proper Internet Connection ?

Go to Start -> Run -> CMD and type the following line -

ipconfig /flushdns

Another way to do it click Start, point to All programs, point to Accessories and then click Command prompt. You still have to type that line.

The ipconfig /flushdns command provides you with a means to flush and reset the content of the DNS client resolver cache. During DNS troubleshooting, if necessary, you can use this procedure to discard negative cache entries from the cache, as well as, any other dynamically added entries.
Resetting the cache does not eliminate entries that are preloaded from the local Hosts file.

Your WoW is *** up. I've had same problem after I was messing with my mpq files, while trying to downgrade from 4.1 to 4.0.6a. Had to copy whole Cata all over again.

ya it may be the best solution to try to repair your wow first if that doesn't help I would suggest to download it again.

Notice that if you repair you should redo your realmlist again since it gets fixed as well.
