If i wanted retail rates, i'd join a server with retail rates

the honor rates were actually 3x, when they updated to 4.3.4 they said they'd lower the rates to 2x

According to google translate, they basically lowered the 'main' honor rate, cause you get normal honor for kills/assists (at least that's how i understand it).
Still sounds like shit to me :v I know i shouldn't complain since i play here for free and stuff, but they never even asked us, the players about our opinions on honor rates

thats something i hate about this forum, a lot of the bug reports etc are in romanian, so the non-romanian players have no idea whats being discussed, and honor atm seems pretty low considering all honor gained was doubled in 4.1

no, we were on 4.0.6, however patch 4.1 doubled the honor gain, and all changes from patch 4.1 till 4.3.4 apply to the current patch

Decisions like this aren't taken in hours/1-2 days, I need to see the impact of honor rates modifications over time. The actual rate indeed seems a *bit* lower, I've increased it by 50% on Exodus, let's see how this goes

Thanks for increasing honor rate, but since honor gain got dubled with 4.1 on retail and on freakz not, shouldn't it be doubled now instead of increasing it by 50%, to catch up with blizzlike honor gain?
If I'm right then we're having 1.5x honor rate while retail since 4.1 till now have it x2.
If I'm wrong, then I'm waiting for kind correction instead of flaming.

Initially, honor rate has been decreased due to the fact that it affected random battleground reward (that didn't happen on retail), that means you had double rbg reward for a couple of months, and that does make a huge difference. Even if honor rate has been increased again by 50% and not by 100%, kill rate (honor gained from kills) is somewhere over 3x and you gain 1 honor point per kill no matter how many allies hit the enemy / are in range.
Taking into consideration the things stated above, this might be the final rate. However, we still need to fix honor gain per resources/flags/bases & such, so there will be a slight improvement
