Horde vs Ally

There is no such thing as "Alliance is better in PVP than Horde" or "Horde is better in PVP than Alliance". There are days when most BGS are won by horde and days when most BGS are won by Alliance.
Basically, it doesn't matter which faction you choose, it all depends what perks you get from different races and which one of them you like.

To answer your question, there are more Alliance players than Horde players.

Alliance is the pvp faction by default (when you get a race whose racial spell is a pvp trinket, most people would go for it)

Horde has more pve population than pvp, you will still manage to win bgs, but i say that alliance wins more often.

It really doesn't matter which faction wins more. If you find a (good) premade group, you'll most likely win. I've won as alliance, I've won as horde, no difference, there are dumb people everywhere.
