How to: run WoW x64 bit


Why?
    - Using the x64bit version will use more of your PC's resources
    - More resources means more FPS (in my case +20//25 FPS)
    - Better experience



Instructions
    - Download WoW.exe from here
    - Copy it and overwrite the existing WoW.exe from your game folder (If you don't even know where's your game's folder don't even bother to read the following steps....)
    - It's better to make a back-up of your old WoW.exe so try to rename it wow32.exe
    - Delete the Cache folder
    - Open the new WoW.exe and if you get an error like "Data\enGB\locale-enGB.MPQ: Cannot stream required archive data. Please check your network connection"
    - If yes, then go to this download link go to WoW local and download the files that the error is telling that they are missing
    - After you copy+paste those downloaded files everything should be fine



Additional information
    - If you can't connect to the WoW Freakz server delete the WTF folder, open WoW.exe, and you will see that a new WTF folder has been created
    - Enter the WTF folder and overwrite the config.wtf file with with the config.wtf file from the Freakz Launcher download from here
    - If you want to receive Breaking News from Freakz go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
    open the file hosts (with Notepad) and add the following (without #):

    89.39.13.10 status.wow-europe.com
    89.39.13.10 launcher.worldofwarcraft.com

    Save and Exit!

Hey,

maybe im just to stupid...

but i followed your steps but it doesnt work :/

I just can download an _index.htm and dont know what to do with it.

when i put it into my wow local and open it and choose "DEde" nothing happens.
I dont get any files for copy+paste.

yeah i have the same prob it says files is missing when i click that link of download ur missing data then i click eng nothing happening plz help us with that link -
