Inscription Guide 1-525

[Paladinul]

Inscription (wowhead link)is one of WoW's crafting professions.Its purpose is to create Glyphs,Scrolls,Darkmoon Cards,Off-Hand Items and even powerful shoulder enchants.

To create such items you will need Herbalism Supplies,so in my opinion the best pair for this profession is of course Herbalism.


First things first:You can learn this profession in any major city of Azeroth.If you don't know where the trainers are,try asking a guard for directions.



When you will level this profession,you will be making glyphs/scrolls using Inks and Parchments.These inks are made from pigments which also are made from Milling (wowhead link)(a inscription skill that allows you to crush 5 herbs of a kind to create 2-4 pigments)






Profession Leveling 1-75

1-20:Create Ivory Ink from Alabaster Pigment(Peacebloom,Silverleaf,Earthroot).
20-35:Create Scroll of Stamina (wowhead link) using Ivory Ink and Light Parchment.
35-50:Create Moonglow Ink from Alabaster Pigment.
50-75:Create Enchanting Vellum using Moonglow Ink

Profession Leveling 75-125

75-80:Create Midnight Ink using Dusky Pigment(Mageroyal,Briarthorn,Bruiseweed,Stranglekelp).
80-100:Create any glyph that is orange to you using Midnight Ink.
100-105:Create Lion's Ink using Golden Pigment.
105-125:Create any glyph that is orange to you using Lion's Ink and Common Parchment.

Profession Leveling 125-200

125-130:(Only if you have!)Create Dawnstar Ink using Burnt Pigment OR you can create any glyph that is orange to you between 125-130.
130-145:Create any glyph that is orange to you until you reach 145.
145-150:Create Strange Tarot using Dawnstar Ink.
150-155:Create Jadefire Ink using Emerald Pigment(Fadeleaf,Goldthorn,Khadgar's Whisker).
155-175:Again you should create any glyph orange to you using Jadefire Ink and Common Parchment.
175-195:Glyphs orange to you again using Jadefire Ink and Common Parchment.
195-200:Create Arcane Tarot using Royal Ink.

Profession Leveling 200-290

200-205:Create Celestial Ink using Violet Pigment(Blindweed,Firebloom,Sungrass,Gromsblood).
205-250:Create any orange glyph to you using Celestial Ink and Heavy Parchment.
250-255:Create Shimmering Ink using Silvery Pigment(Dreamfoil,Golden Sansam,Mountain Silversage).
255-260:Create Scroll of Spirit V using Shimmering Ink and Heavy Parchment.
260-290:Create any glyph (yellow/orange) using Shimmering Ink and Heavy Parchment until you reach 290.

Profession Leveling 290-350

290-305:Create Ethereal Ink using Nether Pigment(Felweed,Dreaming Glory,Terocone).
305-350:Create any glyph that is orange to you using Ethereal Ink and Resilient Parchment.

Profession Leveling 350-425

350-355:Create Ink of the Sea using Azure Pigment(Tiger Lily,Icethorn,Lichbloom).
355-360:Create Scroll of Spirit VII using Ink of the Sea.
360-365:Create Scroll of Intellect VII using the same ink as before and Resilient Parchment.
365-370:Create Scroll of Strength using the same ink and parchment as before.
370-375:Create Scroll of Agility using the same ink and parchment as before.
375-380:Create Snowfall Ink using Icy Pigment milled from the same herbs of Azure Pigment.
380-400:Create any glyph (orange or yellow) or do the Northrend Inscription Research (wowhead link) once you have 385.
400-405:Create Scroll of Stamina using Ink of the Sea and Resilient Parchment.
405-410:Create Scroll of Spirit using the same ink and parchment as before.
410-415:Create Scroll of Intellect using the same ink and parchment.
415-420:Create Scroll of Strength using the same ink and parchment.
420-425:Create Scroll of Agility usingt the same ink and parchment.

Profession Leveling 425-525

425-450:Create Blackfallow Ink using Ashen Pigment(Azshara's Veil,Cinderbloom,Stormvine,Whiptail,Twilight Jasmine).
450-460:Create Mysterious Fortune Card using Blackfallow Ink and Resilient Parchment.
460-475:Create Adventurer's Journal using Blackfallow Ink and Resilient Parchment.
475-480:Create Inferno Ink using Burning Embers(milled together with Ashen Pigment).
480-490:Create Dust of Disappearance using Blackfallow Ink.
490-510:Create Etched Horn using Inferno Ink and Scavenged Dragon Horn.
510-520:Here you can choose between making Forged Documents(24h Cooldown,resets every day at 00:00) or make some of these items until you reach 520=>Divine Companion,Battle Tome,Dungeoneer Guide.
520-525:Create some of these items Notched Jawbone,Silver Inlaid Leaf,Tattooed Eyeball.

If you get stucked with grey items that don't give you skill,try going to your trainer.He usually must have something new for you to learn.

BLACKFALLOW INK can be obtained only by milling Azshara's Veil,Cinderbloom,Stormvine,Whiptail,Twilight Jasmine and having 450 inscription skill.
Therefore,I was wondering what should I do from 425-450 since everything is green/grey and the materials are kind of a pain in the back to get.
