Just need a confirmation on Hagara bugs

So anyways - I've been playing a Disc priest for some time and have already killed the boss several times on heroic.

However, just earlier today I seem to have experienced that old weird bug - the one where the dispels are so random (that recount doesn't even show them).

As far as I've heard the rumors, these random (sometimes wipe-causing 'invisible' dispels) are caused by:

(1) Overhealing - if you overheal a player with frostflake, he gets dispelled

(2) Touching the bubble - if a player goes near the bubble, he automatically gets dispelled and drops the ice patch

(3) Priest shields - priest shields (as a disc, obviously without the holy spec talent), procs a dispel also


Which is which as far as causing that bug goes?

Receiving Hand of Freedom, Master's Call or poping Cloak of Shadows or anything that removes the debuff from you, causes it to drop the slow shit on the ground unless u're deep in the buble. If u go deep in the buble, debuff goes away on it's own btw, without droping Slowflake or w/e the name was.

Yep I know about the class spells that remove movement impairment.

But among all of those "rumors" I mentioned above, none are true at all? Or is there some weird bug?

Every movement altering effect or cooldown like freedom, COS etc removes it.

So if you are speced as discipline for that talent that increase the movement speed after placing shield on the target it really is possible that your shields are dispelling. However there is random bug when as soon as you touch the bubble you get dispelled without using any of the above.

Shaman's Ghost Wolf spell doesn't seem to count as a movement altering effect, and it doesn't dispell the frostflake. Anyway, there's also a bug when you stand near the edge of the bubble, when you dispell, you still get the 'slow shit' on the ground, even if you have that bubble debuff on yourself.

The bubble appears if you are more than 23 yards Away from boss, and the bubble radius is 11.5yards with the center in Hagara

Yeah that's precisely what I was talking about, because speccing as Disc means you won't get that talent (because it's from the Holy tree).

At the same time, that "touching the bubble = dispel" random bug, I've seen that occur once or twice (a week), nothing too major; however in a previous raid, I'm guessing it happened in every single attempt - which was annoying to say the least.

The thing is, only thing we can do is learn how to go around it and live with it until (if) it gets fixed.

Well thanks for the replies, I guess...

It's most probably just a frustrating combo of bad luck and bad moments that were causing the random bugged dispels.

(ie. Recount shows only 2 dispels were cast, and yet snow patches appeared 4+ times)
