Latency difference from cata and wotlk

Please dont delete this request,my other were a bunch of bitches and did......

I was simply wondering if WoW did something to help with the lag when your latency got higher.What i mean is in wotlk i could get about 80% latency and if it got higher from a 100% and up it would get worse and in battlegrounds it would get really crazy.If im playing cataclysm i get about 150%-200% and higher it goes pretty smooth,i haven't tried in battle grounds yet,but just wondering?

probably caused by the cusom lag tolerance feature added on cataclysm, you can find it in the interface - combat options

i still dont know if this is helping me a lot or nothing at all, maybe im not noticing it, need to do more tests for this
