Lowered honor rates on Exodus

dude lowering rates is one sql query. it will take 1 min of your time. You can do it even now

Most probably config setting, not SQL query.

But yeah, I join the question, why lower them now? I don't really mind it that much, but it kind of doesn't make sense atm...

the ppl asking for higher honor rates are 99% the noobs that rush the flag in eots and get the it without bases or rush one base in AB etc etc. Learn to pvp and then you won't have anything to worry about. If you really need to ask something ask for scripted rated BGs, that has more sense (and no, i'm not in a pvp guild).

both. was asking on some bg. one guy was flaming for honor rates and he didnt had even reputation gear. and it was one random bg.

fyi: i dont even have the flag cap archievs on my char.. yet i got all honor pvp gear and working on getting arena sets (1.4k rating only atm) .. and even tho i dont need more honor gear i do think the honor rates are ridiculously low on freakz server (atleast exodus) .. i really pity any new player just began in the server wants to get honor gear to start pvping ... i think they would be better of going raid/dungeons.

PS: if the honor rates got lowered to 1.5x... that means that pve rates (in dungeons) will get lowered to 1.5x too? .. afterall bgs are comparable to dungeons (just as arenas are comparable to raids..) ill like to see what would people say if dungeons drop rate gets lowered to x1.5 (down from x30..lol) ..heh

actually dungeons drops are lower than retail rotfl

dunno , rare drops are supposed to be x30, ill like to see them at 1.5 , just to see how many posts qq about it lol

Rare drops and XP rate is increased to help gear up new players to a basic level of gear. Don't forget you can manually set them to a lower degree.
As you see, it is only applied to blue items not epic ones. This has nothing to do with pvp.

In last stance, you could compare honor and conquest points to justice and valor points.
However, both, PvE and PvP are 1x, there is no difference for any of the playstiles.
