Mail problem (sorry for repost)

So my dk got bugged and I had a full heirloom set on her, I sent the heirlooms and 3 gold to another character, logged out , deleted that char and logged in on the pally. I get the mail but I don't get any items in it, only the gold. I need some help, please.
I also discovered that deleted characters don't show up in here https://www.wow-freakz.com/character_list.php .

Only max level characters can be undeleted. Regarding your items, not sure I understand what happened, but that's what Item recovery section is for

Let me explain clearly.
Last night I created a dk, I completed the first quests without any problem, then I teleport on the ground outside archerus hold, I complete the duel quest, then I take the horseman quest, the one where I need to kill some mobs and the one with the saronite arrows. As I go to the mail and the zone phase changes into a later one so I can't complete those quest anymore.
I decide to send my heirlooms back to my paladin, I put them into the mail, so it's 11 heirlooms and 3 gold which I had on my dk. I log out, delete the bugged dk and proceed to log in on my paladin. I receive the mail, but it only contains the gold. As you said, you can only undelete max level characters, so I don't have my character to select it in the item recovery option.
It's not about my heirlooms, but it may happen to some other players too.
