Știre: Fostul internaþional francez Claude Makelele a fost numit director tehnic la clubul AS Monaco, din Ligue 1.

Makelele, 42 ani, fost jucãtor la Real Madrid, Chelsea, PSG ºi Marseille, s-a retras în 2011 de la PSG ºi timp de 2 ani a activat ca secund la clubul parizian. În mai 2014, el a preluat echipa Bastia, dar a fost concediat dupã 6 luni.

La Monaco, Makelele va fi mâna dreaptã a vicepreºedintelui Vadim Vasiliev pe probleme sportive ale clubului monegasc.
