Microsoft lanseaza un nou format de imagine

Microsoft a anuntat introducerea unui nou format destinat imaginilor, creat special pentru fotografii profesionisti. Formatul HD ofera o compresie dubla a fisierelor permitand totodata editorilor sa decodeze informatia aflata doar in anumite zone din imaginea respectiva.
Totdata, Microsoft a prezentat un nou set de plug-in-uri HD Photo pentru Adobe Photoshop cu ajutorul carora profesionistii vor putea prelucra imaginile in formatul HD direct din Photoshop.
Formatul HD este deja compatibil cu Vista prin codecul WIC (Windows Imaging Component) si poate fi utilizat de asemenea sub Windows XP sau Windows Server 2003.
