Neverlight in need of fresh meat!

Ok, for those of you wondering what the hell is "Neverlight", it's a guild getting its roots from a WOTLK server. Now, since they've got tired of farming the Lich King's *** all week, they've decided to try their luck with Cataclysm and since Freakz is one of the best private servers, they've come here.
In my humble opinion, I find it the best guild on Exodus' horde side and that's precisely the reason why I'm a member of this guild.

So "why should I join Neverlight", you may ask. For starters, here's our progression :

If you're wondering why Zon'ozz 25hc isn't here, it's precisely the reason why I come to you with this topic. We are in need of new good players to complete your 25 man roster. Currently we have 2 heroic raiding groups and about 20 active people, on average.


Why you should consider joining us :

~ We take pride in having organized raids and a sign up system which officers thoroughly respect.
~ Our guild ranks are based on raid attendance and performance, the more you attend, and the better your performance is, the higher ranking you will be.
~ Loot distribution is being done mainly through DKP bidding. We operate on a unique and original DKP Minimum Bid system which offers everybody who attends raids, a fair shot at dropped items. The more you attend, the more DKP you have, the more DKP you have, the more you qualify to bid for items not many others can afford to bid for. This system ensures that skill, attendance and attitude are rewarded as well, as officers are allowed to award bonus DKP to exceptional players.
~ On Horde side, we are one of the last high-end raiding guilds.
~ When official stuffs mode is off, trolling and PvP'ing are quite present.

How and what we recruit

~ Main requirement would be fluent and above average knowledge of the English language .
~ The ability to speak or at least listen to what is being said on Mumble in raids.
~ Extensive knowledge regarding you class and spec (PvE).
~ Age above 17, since most U17 are mad qq'ers.
~ Knowledge of tactics for all the present and upcoming bosses in Cataclysm raids.
~ Gear is not very important but the more you have, the faster you can join us for progression raids and stuff.
~ Friendly, active and open-minded people.

Some rules, so you know in what kind of stuff you'll be getting into :

SIGN UP SYSTEM

- If you take a look on the Events Calendar you will find our weekly raids. In order to determine who attends these raids, we use the built-in sign up system that the website provides.
- The order in which players sign up will be respected unless the leader of that particular raid has some objections to the raid comp, etc. It is up to them to decide.

MAINS vs ALTS

- Currently we operate on the idea that all mains > all alts which means we only attend the weekly raids with our mains unless asked otherwise (and unless one is the winner of the attendance prize and has chosen to swap his main).
- Please do not sign up for an attendance raid with your alt, you will not get invited, at all. Ever. You could come on your alt only if we need you to.


TRIALS

- 2 week trial period in which you are required to attend raids in order to get your performance evaluated.
- Failing on tactics and boss mechanics will earn you a guild kick so l advise every single trial to be aware of ALL the Cataclysm, all the bosses we are currently farming or progressing.

LOOT

- Using DKP addon ensures that people who are both active and useful are getting loot.

MUMBLE AND VOICE COMMUNICATION

- Download and use Mumble 1.2.3 for all weekly raids. It is a compulsory thing, you will not be invited to the raid without it.

Just a small question: You said that in the free time you do a lot of PvP and trolling. As a (mostly) PvP player, that enjoys a good trolling, what are my chances to get invited in the guild?

P.S.: I checked the application on your site, that's an awesome interview over there.
P.S.2: I am not applying on the site yet because my main class is Rogue, and you don.t need any more rogues atm. Even though I know the scripts of the major bosses released on Freakz, and I know my class, for now I don.t have the actual time to play in raids for more than 1 hour every day (some days more, depends if I get off work early and if my girlfriend is still at work ).

Well you could talk to our gm to apply as a social, I think.
About your main, if we like your app and see you handling it well, you'll increase your chances by a lot.
Our raiding days are monday to thursday (DS 10h on monday & tuesday, 25h on wednesday and FL 10h and DS 25n on thursday). Our raid time is quite variable, depending mostly on how fast the signed up people log and our mood (sometimes we tend to troll and laugh a lot instead of farming bosses, farming gets tiring after a while).
