Hi everyone, I just downloaded the game and I'm having trouble deciding which faction I want to choose. Is there a difference in terms of population between the 2 factions? Is there a better faction for PvE or is it pretty much the same?

Hello,

both factions have around same number of players Horde has more PvE players and Alliance has more PvP players/guilds , also raid finder + dungeon finder + random bgs have
cross faction Queue's , Hence faster queue times

I think both factions are quite in balance. As an alliance player, I can tell that we have PvE guilds same as the horde

. In other words, you can choose the faction you like the most.

If you are into PVE< you wll have a easyer time on horde. Simply because of the Race 'racial' abilities wich are more inclined toward PVE and do help.
Not all races have usefull racials but on horde side, Orc (most common) and troll have good racials.

Alliance wise, most people go Human because of their racial wich allows for a extra trinket in PVP.
