The biggest forests of the world is in grave danger. Half of the original forest has been destroyed, and things are in the process to worsen if the current rate of deforestation isn’t slowed.
The causes of deforestation:
The need for wood, deforestation to make way for farmland, roads and railways, fire, mines, fuels are all a ground related to deforestation.
The obvious solution would be to stop deforestation and thus halt the deterioration. But is this the only answer? Global trade in timber business reached $ 5 billion so stopping would certainly be met with much hostility. But perhaps there is no need to halt the cutting.
That is why conservation organizations trying to educate them to buy alternative on those products and encourages them to make informed decisions about their lifestyle.
