Problems with Macros

Hey all,

I have been working with a friend of mine, trying to teach her the finer points of playing WoW and we arrived on the subject of macros.

I use Macros on all my healers with the general following effect:

#showtooltip
/cast [@mouseover,help][@target, help][@player] "spell"

This works great for me but for her the macro simply fails and it actually types in party chat [@player] Purify. I checked, double checked and triple checked her syntax and I see no errors.

We have tried every variation of macro code I could think of (/use, [@mouseover,help] Purify;[..], target=mouseover, ...). They should all work and create the same result yet they aren't.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? Is there an addon screwing up her macro code?

I would appreciate any insight.

She has condicionals on a new line, which obviously wont work, so tell her to delete the extra line break or just copy paste the entire string and it will work just fine.
