Bug description: Raid save progress system incorrect work. Good work in mythic raid. But not work in heroic and normal raid. New system work in EN/NH/ToV/ToS and all raid legion (bfa later)
Raid leader can't save progress.
How it work:
Raid leader can save progress in normal and heroic raid.
Progress reset together with week CD(mythic raid)

this is actually a very important point. Indeed, this will give new guilds a chance to get progress and have an incentive to go raid every day until the id is reset.

Can you please provide a SS or a link of a BLUE post where that is explained, I can't read w/e language that is.

That was posted in 2014, hundreds of things could have changed.
As far as I know you can only and only extend the the Mythic lock, Normal and HC are "flex" and I don't think that applies to the as well

This system started working with SoO ( 5.4.Х 2013) later in WoD, Legion, Bfa.

No actual proof, but while we were doing progres on retail on HC difficulty, from week to week we were extending the lockout, during WoD/ Legion ( Cause before wod prepatch on pandria and implementing the "mythic" difficulty and everything else became flex, heroic and normal could actualy be extended). Also, the whole Emeral Nightmare and Nighthold were done as extended lockouts on HC.

No. All its actual. Do not confuse the save system and raid format.
Raid format = Normal / Heroic / Flex/10 /20/25/40
Raid save system (lockouts ) = Strict Instance-based Lockout / Flexible Boss-based Lockout / Loot-based Lockout.

Loot-based Lockout not working correct.

Loot-based Lockout
Used for: All Raid Finder raids, Siege of Orgrimmar Normal/Heroic, Warlords raids Normal/Heroic, Legion raids Normal/Heroic, Battle of Atheroth raids Normal/Heroic.

You can kill a boss as many times per week as you like, but only loot it once per difficulty.
Anyone can join anyone’s instance.
Bosses are never locked to you, and you can always go back and kill them later even if you’ve skipped them by joining a group that had progressed further.
Raid sizes can be anywhere from 10 to 30 players, and difficulty automatically scales to match.
But raid leader can save progress.

PS This problem was found in 2017 ( on wow freakz) 2017! Carl. It is strange that on other projects this system works.
