[PvP Event] Battlegrounds between Guilds 3rd Edition

Date / Time: 23 & 24 Octomber 2015. Matches will be played between 18 - 24 PM Server Time.
Location: Twin Peaks / Temple of Kotmogu / Silvershard Mines / Battle for Gilneas
Spectators: Yes
Live Stream: No (Unless players will do on their own)

Information:

• The first played battleground will be Twin Peaks, and the loser picks the next battleground.
  
• The battle system will be 2/3.
  
• We're doing double elimination tournament.
  
• Groups of the same faction can join to battle each other.
  
• Rewards are account bound.

Rules:

• Only 1 team / guild (10 members).
  
• Only PVP ITEMS! (Malevolent Gladiator's / Dreadful Gladiator's).
  
• The group will be made of: 8 DPS & 2 Healers / 1 Tank 7 DPS & 2 Healers
  
• You may only come with one type of class/spec. EG: You cannot have two Shadow Priests, but you can have one Shadow and one Discipline.
  
• A maximum of 2 of the same class which have multiple roles is allowed. You may not come with Balance/Feral/Restoration druids. You may NOT come with Fury Warrior AND Arms Warrior for example.
  
• Feral Druids (tank spec) and Feral Druids (dps spec) are not allowed in the same team.
  
• Holy & Discipline priests are not allowed in the same team.
  
• •In case of a 0-0 in Twin Peaks, an Temple of Kotmogu will be played instead.

NOTE: You must post the members participating in the event on the post beforehand. You are allowed with 5 replacements (so you may put a maximum of 14 members). If at any point you join with someone outside these 15 members, you will be automatically disqualified.
NOTE: Only 10 players / guild will get a reward.

Honestly i believe that these rewards are lame, we were getting much better rewards for 3s event which requires far less effort than battleground event. If you added something like small ammount of donation points for each player or gladiator tabard i am pretty sure many guilds would consider participating. Not like you got anything to lose.

Mounts from 1st place & all titles are unique (not obtainable via donation). All rewards inspired from Rated Battleground (mount/titles).

Was recently a fix for several reasons cause crashes. They are still frequently?

Hi. Not that I don't appreciate your events, it's just... Let's be honest, how many good PvP guilds are there that are actually active in bg's? 2? 3? How would this be an entertaining event since I'm almost 90% sure which guild will win? Most guilds that do PvP don't even bother with bg's. On horde side there's probably Assault(although they mostly rape the arena spectator and do nothing else) and Blasphemy(which doesn't really have a lot of activity recently). Then on Alliance there's Legion of Angels and Authentiks(who probably has the best PvP players who also do premade bg's and who is most likely to win the event). Any other guilds spring to mind? Lux Aeterna do 3-5 man premades and they aren't that successful, TROLOLOLOL are mostly focused on arenas etc, etc. If you think this is a good idea for an event then by all means, go with it, but like I said, the odds are highly in Authentiks favor. Just my opinion.

Hi, Ash. I see, and I understand your point of view, but wouldn't enabling Rated Battlegrounds do the exact same thing you guys wish to accomplish here? By enabling them, I think more guilds would focus on PvP and specifically on battlegrounds. Of course, people barely play 3v3 here, and I can see why you guys would have doubts about rbg's, but still, wouldn't those promote playing bg's more and more? I'm just saying...

@Najeron Authentiks heavy favorites? Okay that's an awesome joke, what place were they previous event? oh wait. What about 100% gcd hacker? They got plenty of Best in their class players, what about Battleforged? Last event we went 2-3 in finals with GameSense without inviting any player from other guild while GamseSense was created few days before event happened so they gathered top 10 players. So instead predicting heavy favorites lets hope that we are going to have more than 4 guilds applied for event and then we'll see how it goes.

I can say that this event is not good for just one reason : There are many players who donated for elite items.People that couldnt do this are low geared.( here i can include those players wich played 4000 arenas because they had time vs those who played 400 until now ) Yes you have full malevolent but if you want to have a beautifull event organize it on dreadfull gear for now to have a balance.

A.t.m the only chance that this event whould work is in dreadfull only from my point of view.there you will see the skill when both teams will be ilvl vs ilvl and not 490 vs 470.

On topic : I think you should change the titles with http://www.wowhead.com/title=127/of-the-horde / http://www.wowhead.com/title=126/of-the-alliance because a lot of people already have marshal/general.
We should be allowed to choose betwheen the mounts for example if i am Alliance would be nice if i can get http://www.wowhead.com/item=102533 and if i am horde to get http://www.wowhead.com/item=102514/reins-of-the-vicious-warsaber.

@Mihai25 , why do you put class restriction / healers per team restrictions . There are different bg-s where different setups can bring you an advantage . I mean it's the team choice if they want to go with 3 healers or ex 2 warlocks in a flag bg ( 1 affliction to pressure on a mid fight and 1 destro to burst down the opposite team flag carry ) . This was just a small example , but there are a lot of rated battle ground strats/tactics used on blizz .
