Question about the server

I just recently joined WoW Freakz, me and my friends just migrated from a different server, we noticed that the server gets down occasionally, is this normal? how frequent is this? sometimes it's really quite discouraging to continue after experiencing a down and waiting for the server to go back up again, especially when we're on a roll during dungeons or raids. someone please explain why they have down times, it might help me explain to my friends and keep our morale up for this server

Usually these crashes are not often and whenever they occur, rest assured our Staff is looking into it so that it does not repeat again. There have been times of more than 24 hours uptime, with server resets occuring in the early hours of the morning (server time).
