Bug description: Caged horror's proc Dark Blast does not damage all enemies in the line of your current enemy, but rather everything behind it, in the line.
Proof: no proof needed, read the tooltip. if still required leave the thread open

It works fine, it damages all the enemies between You and Your target regardless of HOW THEY ARE FACING. So if you target an enemy and it has enemies behind it your trinket will NOT hit the targets behind because it clearly states in the trinket "Your ranged attacks and spells have a chance to unleash a Dark Blast in the Direction of YOUR target dealing x amount of damage to all enemies IN THE LINE."
