[REJECTED] Mercenary Mode Disguise

Bug description:

To be blizzlike players shouldn't be given masks, but their disguise should be similar to the Orb of Deception. The mask on the Mercenary Mode announcement by Blizzard was just a joke, and on retail players get visually tansformed into appropiate race from opposite faction.

""When you compete as a mercenary, you still earn all of the same rewards you would have by winning or losing as your own faction (with the exception of faction-specific achievements). Your race also automatically changes into one appropriate for the opposite faction while you’re still inside the Battleground or Ashran."

"Players will automatically have their race changed into one appropriate for the opposite faction which means their model, including tooltips, will be completely changed and unrecognizeable as being "disguised".


"Mercenaries are indistinguishable from regular Horde/Alliance members, and cannot be identified by other mercenaries or non-mercenary players."

As a side - note, I would also like to suggest extending the functionality of the disguise to crossfaction dungeons, as they are basically Mercenary Mode in PvE, and Blizzard never intended Horde nad Alliance to visually appear to be cooperating.

Greetings,

The sole reason for which we've implemented crossfaction battlegrounds is so that players will not experience great queue time for Battlegrounds, and we will not change the way it currently is implemented.

Furthermore, we do realize that crossfaction battlegrounds have the Mercenary Disguise (implemented in patch 6.2.2) but we believe that implementing that as well will not be beneficial, that being the reason it was not implemented from the start, here on WoW Freakz.

That being said, I hope you understand our decision, and that further more changes would make our server too "custom". If the disguise would be beneficial and help the player to achieve end-game content quicker, we could've taken it into consideration.
