[REJECTED] Mining Prof in Legion

Bug description: I am levelling the Mining Prof on the Felsong Server. Starting at Mithril - mining nodes do not add skill levels. This continues through Obsidium in Cata areas. The only way to gain skill points is by smelting. My mining skill level is stuck at 340 because I can no longer gain skill points from smelting. ALSO - even though I only have a skill level of 340 I can mine nodes up to Obsidium ore in Cata areas. I do NOT know if the mining nodes above skill level works beyond this point as I am only level 80...

Proof: Check it out in person I guess?

By the way... My hat is off to the GMs (Shokeru and others) as well as the Devs for their unending work in fixing up Felsong for us. Everyone seems to bitch about what's wrong, but very few say "Thanks".

PS. I am lvl 85 now... Ghost Iron requires mining of 525. As my Mining is still stuck at 340 - my mining career is now kaput. The stop at lvl 340 halted my Engineering career as well - just sayin.

PSS. I am lvl 90 now... True Iron Ore (Draenor) is Minable at the node without gaining mining points - I am still lvl 340 miner.

I am now lvl 93... Blackrock ore is minable at the node - no added points... still 340

hey dude i have the same problem i went to outland to mine rich adamantite veins cause i thought they would level my 340 mining skill yet it didn't which lead to me not being able to also not raise blacksmithing as well so anybody doing mining is stuck at 340 skill yet can mine anything higher but affects blacksmithers try to level their profession
