I'm afraid I'm not missinformed. Please check out @ http://www.wowhead.com/forums&&topic=212332/the-point-of-justice-points-in-mop-where-is-it

The post you are linking is miss-leading because SOME valor gear (489) becomes available for Justice Points with 5.2. The rest of the 489's became available for Justice Points with patch 5.4.

Also if you believe I'm miss informed please send me a PM instead of opening a new report, could you?
