[REJECTED] [Rogue] Stealth Bug - stealth not stealthing.

Bug description: Stealth bug, this happens alot in PvP, and I was able to replicate it on a random mob.

As you can see in the image - I hovered over buffs just for show and I have the buff stealth as shown by icon and tooltip.

And if you look at bottomleft where my abilities are, you can also see that, I am infact in stealth, yet my character isnt faded out like you are normally when you are in stealth,

so DESPITE being in stealth???, Players and mobs are able to easily see me and attack/cc me.


THIS NEEDS A FIX ASAP.

@quicksand this is replicatable 100% in HoV, go to fenryrs realm and try taking the path everyone takes to the bottom of the area where you fight him, by the time you get to the bear past the first 2 bulls I bet you'd encounter the stealth bug, it happens everytime here, so much so that I've stopped even trying to stealth through here, I'll try doing HoV on normal later today to record as well.

as far as i know, using artifact power items while in stealth can ReProduce it. you will have stealth buff but you arent actually stealth.
some food/potion/mount can trigger this in BattleGrounds also. not really sure about that. happens to subtlety rogue more often.

also, try to fix the stealth delay. (it's not like this in retail, retail delay was like 0.2 - 0.3 second as i tested with a few guys)

currently, if i use stealth, players further than 10yd can still target and hit me for like 0.5 - 1.2 second. which is rather extremely annoying.

@quicksand happens everytime in fenryrs realm.
Not a clue what at this location causes it but it always happens, 100% of the time.

All day everyday this bug it gets really annoying, I tried a combatlog fix to see if that solved the problem, but it didn't, the problem is on the server side.


And finally here is one, which gave me stealth buff and my status (stealthed/unstealthed) completly bugged out, and as you can see I was clearly not in stealth, it won't let me stealath either as I you can see!

Rogue stealth is buggy in all kinds of way on this server, shouldn't it have some priority since much of our kit is based around that???

Please play rogue for 1 day (preferably in PvP since it bugs out the most in those situations), and you will see how frustrating this is, it makes Rogues almost rendered useless - please fix this already...

You are allowed to link such things, but our script contains everything from there, and tons of other things as well. That's a really basic script, ours is way more elaborate. The problem is NOT with the script we wrote. I know the exact cause of this, and I talked with Shocker already, but believe it or not, we didn't actually manage to come up with a proper solution to this issue.

Oh okay, Well I apologize then. I only code in .Lua and I figured I would link that to see if it would shed some light. I should have known better because you are quick with your code anyhow. Thank again for the response.

The stealth has delay..how to reproduce: take 2 players, 1 rogue or druid 1 another class..duel..and the rogue/druid will stealth and you can see that it isnt insta stealth..you can target them for few seconds

I can confirm that as a feral. But I don't think that that is the problem, since in those images the rogue can't enter stealth at all.

I have the same problem with my rogue. I dont have any special buff (I'm leveling) and still... I go stealth, and some seconds later, the stealth desappears even tho the stealth buff is up. It's really getting annoying.

Confirmed been suffering from this for months, and in HOV in that spot happens all the time, and its like some invisible aura makes us spetteable for some reason and the Stealth buff still remains, this and the energy delay in outlaw its the most annoying bug in rog class
