[REZOLVAT] Parere unusual gameplay, reconnect exploit

Motiv : Intentional disconnection, bind reconnect, exploit reconnection, exploit spawn protection time.

Console :
Small example : Player T.C. plays as a Human with Famas, trying to kill people head-on which gives him big advantage since Famas goes well with damage boost classes. On the slightest danger he goes into reconnect, mitigating any damage done to him, leaving the area empty. Player T.C. constantly drops out of the game, okay? This has been going on for as long as I'm aware of it, been around 2-3 months now. I've asked him why does he do that, he didn't answer. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to kill him, but he presses the binded button reconnect anyway. I've said that he is the worst player on the server for doing that.

This became a very bad habit especially since there is already a command

And we all use it. Why can't he?

I have already banned this player for an hour due to reconnecting even though i warned him not to do it (bare in mind this was a month ago) and then he visited the forum asking "what have I done?".


Saber: I think this would be classified as a cheating because before he dies he reconnects and no deaths go to his rank. Although he ruins the game for others...

Although it's not a wallhack or aimbot, it surely is an exploit since it's not only affecting him and his gameplay, but also the others. Each reconnection gives him around 4 sec of immunity.
I remember CS 1.5 before, people who were doing reconnection and then enter at the middle of the game were banned fairly easy.

Let it be clear, I am not for a BAN or anything similar, don't get me wrong, but this behavior is a poor, poor portrayal of sportsmanship in CS and T.C. clearly knows what he's doing, so it's not like he's innocent in all of this with connection issues et cetera.

What would happen if everyone on the server started doing the same thing?

That's classic olalan. I hope you didn't get into trouble for anything like that since it'd be terribly wrong if you did.

A first I thought that T.C.'s using the Portal, but since he was Human i figured - perhaps there's a bug with the item portal since those who're fairly invisible do not show/portray the glitter glow effect after they teleport. Took me a while to figure out that the guy just goes into reconnect as soon as a single AK-47 scratches his HP.
