Random WoW freezes

So lately i'm having problems with my game, sometimes randomly my game would freeze and i wouldn't get any kind of error, i could just minimize but not click anything else... i can close game only via task manager. I tried using both 32 and 64 version of wow but i am still having problems. Anyone knows what could be cause of this?

Gonna guess this only started lately?

If you're using NVIDIA, did you update recently? If so, revert it back to last update. They screwed up the most recent driver update, and there's been cases of people having issues. I know a few people who had problems (I didn't, it's probably a compatibility issue).

Try switching in the video options menu the directx version to 9 .

When it happens , try to tab out quickly and see if theres a pop up saying "Nvidia Kernel Mode Driver has stopped responding"

ohgod, Ive been getting that error so often now, and Ive recently reinstalled my OS. Im going to check and see if the Nvidia driver is the cause of this.

The only fix for me was reverting back to an earlier version of my nvidia driver

If it is the kernel module error aswell , use driver sweeper then reinstall drivers.

removed the file called freakz.dll in wow folder It can cause errors. it wont harm your gameplay its a file that shows freakz site info when you open wow in login menu.
