[Rated Battlegrounds]

Hello , i see some people searching for another team to que for rated battlegrounds , but they cant find the necessary number of players to compete against .
Can we find a way to promote rated bg's for Alliance/Horde maybe with arena spectate and an announcement exactly how we have on 3s ?
I know 10 players who really try are not worth so much work , but having a reward like tittles or pvp mounts (Vicious war steed;Vicious war wolf) maybe we will have some pve/pvp guilds to compete for those , and maybe adding when the pvp season start rewards for top 10,20 players they will have another reason to que .

Pve people are hungry for content , and you can see on global when they reach a big ilvl they dont find the current content challenging anymore , maybe this kinda activity will distract the hungry global players asking for content witch we dont have yet , on the content we have but nobody use , if they don't participate they still can use spectate npc to watch the game.
And on the other side we have arena players https://forum.wow-freakz.com/view-post-5611823.html , and you know you will never satisfy the angry 20-30 pvp players you have but maybe this will mobilize them to compete on this battlegrounds till the server will find a balance in arenas.

Arena spectate it's not working as intented atm :
- We need to find the arena by players name ,we can't click on the list to show us who is fighting FIXED/?
- We have reduced movement speed spectating in 2s/3s
- And the black and white problem but somebody told me it's a command for that
update : if there are more then 2 arenas , we cant see them / sometimes we know somebody is in arena but we cant spectate them if we dont search by the name
and arena spectate show us 0 teams in que .

I remember when on Cataclysm and Pandaria we had some fun events guild vs guild battlegrounds very promoted with daily announcements , pvp and pve guilds competing against each other , the population was 2k players and atleast 200-300 players waited just for event to start , now on 4k population maybe we will not have the same hype because there will not be gm's to say on global the event it's starting but some player's will still use the spectate or find a team to que up .

Shockeru already said he's not gonna implement the rated bgs cause there aren't that many ppl playing pvp, especially 10v10's

I'll have to agree there. Do RBGs not work at all though? Or is it just not broadcasted?

Cause if it's not broadcasted, that's fine then, can always find a group I suppose. If it's not scripted at all though, then that's quite a problem if you ask me. Me personally, I am generally a somewhat hardcore PvPer, and RBGs are the aspect of PvP that attracts me the most. It'd be a shame if RBGs cannot be played on here, as I was going to try to create an active PvP environment here and get some more PvP enthusiast to opt in for wPvP, premades, RBGs, 2s, 3s, you name it we got it!

I just don't find much joy in PvE alone.


Either way, we'll see what the future holds, alot of different things to be done left on the server and alot of different interests from the community. So, we have to do our part and be patient, and time will reveal everything. Till then, doing premades and taking it very seriously will have to do!

Bump. We hit almost 5,5k online, congrats on that. RBGs will attract even more active pvp'ers. I'd love to play RBG with this amount of online. Make PvP great again!

5,5k online players , 1 team in 2s , 0 teams in 3s , 0 teams in 10v10. so sad , this really have to be changed

-implement q weekly 10 wins 2v2 / 10 win 3v3 / 5 win rated bg { 3 quests separated } and give some xmog / mount with super low drop chance boxes for it
-or some vote points or just anything

why do we need it ? on blizzlike, 99% ppl from here wont be able to do +10 key coz here many abilities and mechanics doesnt work , so no1 is motivated to do rated. { im not blaming server , we just rly need to do something custom to promote pvp players, no other choice }

Iam not that Arena player but i rly like to play rated battlegrounds or normal battlegrounds. and there are so much 5 man pugs on his way atm. if you are not in one of this pug its a pain doing bg atm.

Higher Honor level player needs a place to battle equivalent people and not farm scrubs most of the day

Yes it is sad to see from PvP player view, that there are 5k+ players online and 2s,3s,rated bg's dead.. Most reasons are the reward of PvP, majority players don't do PvP becouse it's easy to farm items from PvE, the for no need to go PvP.
Maybe for starters implementing reward on 2s, for example there is 10/10 games won and you receive an item based on your last week highest raiting. I believe it's like a ''arena flush'' in older expansions, why not change it, that this option is changed instead of once every week, but it reset once every 3day's. That should stimulate player's to PvP more, if they have solid raiting they can play arenas to get after every 3day's an item. Let's be real how it is now, get 880+ilvl and you can run high mythics do like couple of high mythics a day and after 2weeks, gg you are almost maxed out on ilvl.
