BFA install issues

I downloaded the new BFA client, but I can't disable the "read-only" section. This may be a window or computer-specific bug, but it's the same on the Legion client, and that one works fine.
The main problem is that I get this message when trying to run the launcher: The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

I obviously can't "Reinstall" anything. I tried redownloading, but the issue persists. Any advice?

Download and install the following:

https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x64.exe (64-bit)

You should be able to launch the game properly afterwards.
