I have got a problem with starting the game and it has to do with the Read Only thingy!

I will make it short. I have a Windows 7 on my pc and while following the install instructions for Wow, I went to the data file and I disabled Read Only. The launcher does not start. I go to the file again and it is still on Read Only. I changed the permissions for my pc account and not even that helped me out. What can I do to turn Read Only off? If I could get immediate assistance, that would be much appreciated. -
