The Coalition

HY fellas!

Back on my previous server, we had a group of guilds called "The Coalition". We had a channel (/join coalition), and we could organize any raids together. I see some potention for that here, since there are often not enough players for a 25man raid, even in the bigger guilds like Ejusdem Generis. By this "coalition" we could make sure that there are no random ninja PUGs in our raid groups. And when a guild run is in lack of players, skilled ppl from other guilds could give a hand. Of course, the Coalition should have a leading crew, The guld masters and 2 other ppl from each guild. These people could decide wether a new guild is able to get invited to the coalition or not.

About us:

Frozen Sunset
lvl 4 (kinda new on the server)
hungarian players playing together now for the 5th year. Many server 1st kills on other realms (yes, international servers aswell as this one) Strong majority, serious raiding. We are also about to start using DKP system.

Ejusdem Generis is definitely upto try something out like this we had somekind of the same thing on our previous server but we didn't used a specific channel.

I think this can work if well organized and used. Lets try it out.

BTW I tried to contact one of your Guild Members but he didn't wanted to give me the name of one of the officers. So maybe its a good idea to be a bit more helping in stuff like that I wanted to ask some of you guys to see how you do in BH 25 yesterday but sadly I couldn't because your guild member was more concerned about what I was going to ask than just giving me the name of an officer. Also do all your members speak English?

Exodus Realm Alliance Guild: Ejusdem Generis

Hy Ezeky! I've been away from net for a couple of days. Yes, our majority speaks a lets say decent english! we also got some recruits, I'm not sure about them yet. My in-game names: Crucia, Krewella, Bulletine, Innerrage, Showgnomercy, Morgothal. (I got lots of alts as you can see )

Is your guild still active, and transfered to Exodus? if your answer is yes, we can try it out. I'm totally willing to organize guild-mixed raids.

Let's start with something easy like BH for a first impression. We used to do these kind of raids on other servers, and actually is a great idea, and works perfectly when players are respectful and polite.

Also for any other guilds reading this, you can search for Ejusdem Generis officers online, or reply here on this post, and we can create a channel, or a thread to schedule cooperative guildraids. I think this idea can enhance the PvE activity on the community, a lot, and spread the raiding spirit through the server too .

HEy mate! Yes, we are still active, lets say more active than ever, and yes, we transferred to Exodus. We got a channel named "/join coalition" where we often post lfm messages to the other guild. But, the problem is that both EG and we can easily fill a 25man raid with guildies. I think the coalition could be used at later days of an ID week, when the main chars are already locked, and people with alts+main chars whos cannot come to the main raids could still lock themselves via the coalition.

This sounds awesome. We are PvP oriented but could use an option to raid sometimes. Last week we did co-raid "For the alliance" with mostly Frozen Sunset people. We did LK10n in Genesis back in the day so clearly PvE is interesting enough for us. I will talk with our GM about the coalition and if you feel that we are good enough for the coalition, i´d be more than happy to give it a go.

How do you distribute the loot in coalition raids. Just normal /roll MS, OS, DE ?
