WoW Fast CTD + File Deletion

Hi,

I have had this problem recently with WoW, where I log in for around 5 minutes, and the game will crash to desktop without any error appearing, and it will delete freakz_8.3.7.exe and launcher_freakz.exe instantly. I have tried deleting the cache and WTF folder, deleting all of my addons (since some of them gave me Lua errors) and nothing is working at the moment. I can restore the .exe's using the torrent checker, but again, opening the game only lasts for around 5 minutes before it deletes itself. Is there any fix to this? (Both me and another friend had this issue also).

If your launcher file is gone, it most likely means your Antivirus or Windows Defender is deleting it.

You can redownload the launcher from here (Method 2).

Before opening the game, add "launcher_freakz.exe" and "launcher_freakz.dll" into your Antivirus / Windows Defender's exclusion list.

I have tried doing this, re-downloading the launcher and allowing almost everything as an exception, but it is still crashing to desktop very quickly after launch.

Please end both the WoW and launcher processes in your Task Manager and restart your PC. Try to launch the game as Administrator next time.

Unfortunately this did not work (there were also none of these processes running also).
