game is operating on the background

Hello.
I downloaded the game and the launcher yesterday and tried to operate it, but it only works in the background and not starting the game at all.
I tend the firewall and antivirus as instructed but it seems not to work, please help me out

I waited for more than 2 hours and nothing happend.
In the Assignment maneger or whatever it is called it says that it works in the background and not operating at all but it still takes a fair precentage of my CPU.
Is there anything else i require to do in order to make it work?

Download the launcher files again from here (Method 2) and paste it in your WoW folder, then uncheck the readonly property from the entire folder. Add the launcher to your antivirus/Windows Defender exception list and open the launcher as admin.
