lag issue in V&T again... for those who cares!

As I said from my last post this lag is one thing we can't really fix by ourselves on our side. I have asked lots of people from our guild if they even lag when we reach the second phase of V&T, specifically when one dragon is about to start or starting to engulf the floor with flames. From what i learned, people from our guild who lives around Europe doesn't experience this problem and if they do, they only have a few delays which for them it always have been tolerable. Now, people from our guild who lives in Asian countries, and South Americas are having this problem. I for one knows this the major thing that causes us to wipe, we are stuck with our progression as a guild here.

As a guild, are not the type to likely give up from any challenges, we have been around from servers to servers, working as team, knowing each ones capacities, we adapt to changes and to challenges but lag is one common thing we can't face. This type is out of our hands, regardless of how solid our group has always been.

Here's some screenies for those who are concerned, I am not the only one lagging here. We have 5-8 people having this problem. Bear with me since i don't know how to fraps.

This is the first few wipes, and the end result of how much latency i get after that second phase:


This one is the other attempt to make a difference.

1st starting fight:
If you click the picture, you can see that i have an average latency and I have an average fps which is set to a good video settings. Should you know that putting my video settings to fair doesn't help the lag, in fact, lag is the same regardless of my video settings, so is turning off all add on (well, that's what i heard- still didn't helped with the lag issue).


2nd:
This picture if you click it, it shows the lag I am having. As you can see the series of abilities i decided to perform just to show the lag, the ms didn't reveal itself yet, but the lag is there and neither one of the abilities i performed didn't even land yet. This picture is when valiona is engulfing the floors with her flames.


3rd:
A minute after. Again activating all the skills, and again ms hasn't really shown itself it's real latency.


4th:
A few seconds later, the latency finally showed its true colors and it's still climbing and from a few seconds ago, the abilities i pop out still hasn't even activated yet.


The finality:
The latency, the lag and the end. Yes, another countless wipe of EG's progression.


Good day! Well, not that good but at least its different day. Same sh!t but different day.

yeah...i can confirm this one more time. On 10hc too after the first breath of Valiona on 3rd phase people get insane amount of lag randomly and they get disconnected. it's wiping the raid basically

well, gm said they will fixed it according to runik's last post. I really hate looking for another server and level up so I hope they fix it fast. There are like 1/4 the guild that lags as much as i do whenever we do 25mode.

If this thing is happening on Exodus you have nothing to do about it than wait to buy a proper server to host..

Last evening there was 1 disconnected always at the start of the fight and then 1 dc-ed during combat .. No way we can do anything with this latency, because i freezed during combat and when was able to move i did it to get out of the fabolous flames, but after 10 secs i was teleported back to them and i was dead .

i don't think it's a realm problem since we raided sometimes at late night too and the problem was still there. It's more a scripting issue.

WOTG is expierencing lags in 25 man mode too, dont know anything about country conditions, but i'll mention lithuania. if its the problem for foreigners.

Hmmm, maybe you're right, but try to tell Shocker that...and try to convince him with some strong proofs and also call your mates here to bring some evidences...more of them

It may be because of the high number of ground flames being spawned, I tried reducing that number by more than half, try again tomorrow and see if the lag is still the same

damn nice latency you got there kalliste, so envious. Anyway, thanks shockeru for taking a look at this. It's been a while since i last posted this and you finally took noticed. I hope reducing the flames will really lessen those lag if it does, then kudos!

It looks like you guys fixed the lag today, i don't know what you guys did, but ZERO lag (horrible 2k ms yesterday, beautiful 200 ms today!)
Although i couldn't check the lag at Deep Breath (dragons killed before Deep Breath), we tried both bosses on BWD.
At least for the 10 normal modes we tried today: no lag at all!

Great we will do a BoT 25hc try this evening on V&T will see how it goes. Will let you know if the lagg is solved.
