Retrieving an abandoned quest line in Legion Suramar

Well, I was on a Suramar quest by the title "AN OLD ALLY" and was compelled to abandon the quest as the NPC was missing in the area. I thought of retaking the quest to give it a second try but was unfortunately unable to. Is there any way to reset the Nightfallen quest line so as to proceed further into the game? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you

I tried looking for him but couldn't find him. I also tried speaking to First Arcanist Thalyssra inside the cave but, she does't seem to have anything to give atm

If this (Goremonger) is your character, you already did a lot of quests from that chain...

Quest:The Delicate Art of Telemancy. That was the exact quest which was abandoned. Sorry about that, I had forgotten the title. My bad. I would be grateful if you could in any way help me to restart the quest

Go to the NPC that starts it, search it on wowhead.
